Light Up Dayton
Working on Shots for the Downtown Dayton Partnership Photo Contest
Once again it is time for the Downtown in Focus Contest sponsored by the Downtown Dayton Partnership. Last year I submitted several photos and took home first place in the Amateur – Abstract category. This is a preview of the shots I took at the Light Up Dayton event during Dayton’s First Friday. I also took some shots of Stranger at Riverscape MetroPark while I waited on the sun to go down. Those shots will be up on the Band Photography site soon.
About the Shoot
Most of the shots I took were long exposures at ISO 200 or 100 at f/18 – 26 depending if I wanted starbursts on the bright lights or not. I shot everything with my Nikon D5000 with the 18-55mm kit lens. I will make another posts with other shots I am considering submitting later.
If you have any questions about the shots or just want to say hey, leave a comment below and I will get back to you ASAP. Thanks for stopping by.
