Dayton Greek Festival – Part III
Dayton Greek Festival 2012
Part III
The Dayton Greek Festival is one of the best fall festivals in the Miami Valley. The people are always friendly, the music is always good, and the food is incredible.
One of the greatest features of the Dayton Greek Festival is the interactivity. After each costumed dance group completes their show, the audience is invited to join the dance while the Greek Tycoons play authentic Greek music. The dance slowly snowballs from just a small group of dancers into a scrum that fills the entire dance area.
Young and old enjoy the camaraderie of the Greek dance at the Dayton Greek Festival. Smiles abound, while the dancers move around the circles. It is quite infectious to watch the dance build and build until there is hardly anyone left watching in the audience, and everyone is enjoying themselves on the dance floor.
The Dayton Greek Festival never fails to entertain thousands every year. If you want to know when it is next year, you can check their website, or just remember its always the weekend after Labor Day.
